The total population of Korattur is 6528 with the coordinates of 13.11149°N and 80.184413°E. The climate of Korattur is quite hot in summer yet moderate at night and there is moderate rain during monsoons. It is an integral part of Anna Nagar and covers a total area of 7.85 square kilometres. The local language spoken here is Tamil.
