Public Transport is easily available. Schools and hospitals are nearby. There are great restaurants nearby for a family dinner. Great Place with less pollution and less crowded.read more

Pothinamallayya Palem is a village in Visakhapatnam district, Andhra Pradesh, India. It is located on the banks of the Godavari River. The village has a population of about 2,000 people, who are mostly farmers and fishermen. The village is known for its traditional culture and is home to some of the oldest temples in the region. The village is home to many Hindu temples, including the famous Pothinamallayya Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva. Etymology wise, the village's name is derived from the words 'pothi' which mean 'stone' and 'nama' which mean 'to offer'. The village has been known for its stone offerings to the deity in the temple. Fishing and aquaculture are also the primary occupations in the village. The village is easily accessible by road and there is a bus stand nearby. There are also many hotels for the tourists to stay. The village is known for its warm hospitality towards the visitors and is one of the most visited places in Visakhapatnam.
