Kurla is a metropolitan mix of residential colonies, big and small industrial estates, commercial enclaves, and slums. An integrated township called Kohinoor City is located in Kurla West and has around 900,000 square feet of commercial space and about 300,000 square feet of retail, residential, hotel, and educational space. A good network of roads and trains connects the region to a variety of developed districts as well as hotels, schools, banks, and hospitals.
