Good things here

Lush greenery is one of the amazing features of Alipore. It is the home to the National Library, the stunning Alipore Park and the Alipore Zoo. Alipore is blessed with its warm and welcoming community, which makes visitors feel right at home. It has wide number of restaurants serving tasty street foods, Bengali sweets and more.read more

Things need improvement

One of the negatives of Alipore is that it lacks basic infrastructure. Also it is very congested and noisy. Roads are narrow and the maintenance is poor, making it difficult to navigate through it. The street lacks proper waste management and is often messy with trash, making it hard to walk around.read more

The cost of living in this locality is pretty cheaper than he nearby cities. There are many well reputed schools and colleges nearby making it a good so for students. There are good multi speciality hospitals and clinics nearby. There is a beautiful park with gardens and ponds inside. There are many shops within the society as well. There are plenty of spaces to park vehicles.read more

The locality lacks safety and security. There are no CCTV cameras installed. There are no police patrolling the area to ensure the safety of the people. There can be crimes often reported. The overpopulation can be very frustrating for many people. It causes heavy traffic jams and high air and noise pollution. This is the best place i ever lived in my entire life. All the major, minor amenities are with in our easy reach. Public transportation options are many, with easy access to cabs and autos, and metro stations are very close. Many great housing options are here with best schools, shops with all essential items, and good medical services are available here. Entertainment options like theatres, malls, pubs are available.read more

Things need improvement

Finding a parking space is quite difficult, and near markets area it's not wise choice to go with private vehicles, due to crowd and lack of parking space. Traffic congestion during peak hours are occasional. High traffic congestion can be a little bit frustration and bothersome. In some areas, street lights need some maintenance. It need more playground for outdoor activities and fun. The area is little expensive and disappointment for those in budget.read more
