IT is a place of mix culture , history etc. it is a bengali flim hub. it is a well connected locality where rail transport, roadway, cabs , buses are availavle along with metros for travelling. tollygunj railway station is located on the budge budge section of kolkata suburban railway. the major auto routes are ranikuthi goria more, ranikuthi tollygunj tram depot, ranikuthi baghajotin and many more. there are many educational institutions for educational growth like south academy high school,swami pranabananda vidyapith, etc.there are many hospitals for health care service like M. R Bangur hospital. it is a well residential location where property prices are moderate to high.read more

Good things here

Tollygunge is a good locality. There is an excellent connectivity to shops,schools, metro and colleges,malls,hospitals, parks.. The area is safe. Tollygunge metro station is one of the busiest city. It is a good location for the people who working in IT sector. Very well maintained roads with footpath. In this area there is a lot of affordable housing options. All over the area is very beautiful.read more

In this area can experience heavy traffic and experience noise pollution. Limited parking facilities during festival days. Another main problem is inadequate of drainage infrastructure. When raining, waterlogging is the main issue. It indicates the inadequate of drainage system. Power cuts and irregular of water supply are the major issue during summer season.read more

Good things here

The water supply is good which is available all the time and there is no problem of water. Electricity supply is also good which is available throughout the day and its charges are also normal. There is a grocery store and a milk shop nearby where all the necessary things are available. There is a good school and medical hospital nearby. The medical shop is also at some distance where all the medicines are available. There is a gym and beauty parlor available nearby. There is a park available nearby where swings are also set up for children to play. For security, security guards and cctv cameras are installed. The police also do patrolling at night. Taxis can be booked easily.read more

Taxi drivers charge more to come here at night. There is no bike or car repair shop nearby. There is no good tuition institute available nearby.read more

Good things here

All the schools, malls, restaurant easily accessible in the locality. CCTV camera and Security guard available in the flat. Streetlight available most of the post. No history of crime nowadays. The locality is safe for you. Local market and medicine store also available.read more

I nothing dislike about the area but traffic is high most of the time. Sometime water shortage and powercuts is a big problem.read more

Good things here

A weekly market is held nearby. The grocery store is just a few steps away from home where all the things of daily use are easily available. Electricity supply available eveytime. There is no problem of water shortage.There is a fruits and vegetables market nearby. Bus. Auto rickshaws are easily available. The school is nearby and the hospital is also at a short distance from the house. There are shopping malls nearby where we can easily go for shopping. There is also a cinema hall nearby where good movies are shown every week.read more

Things need improvement

Street lights at many places on the road do not work properly due to which there is darkness at many places. Road cleaning is also not done properly. There is not even a good stationery shop nearby. Good hotels and guest houses are also not nearby. electricity is cut off during rains.read more
