Good things here

Yes there is no issue regarding safety, There is a police station in 25 minutes distance so safety is not an issue. There are some dwellers nearby which should be removed by municipality. The Bus network is also good and auto/rickshaw are readily available.read more

Things need improvement

The Dwellers and stray dogs they make a mess in the surroundings and no one takes care of it. The municipality must take action against it.read more

Baguiati is a locality in Bidhannagar Municipal Corporation of North 24 Parganas district in the Indian state of West Bengal. It is close to Kolkata and also a part of the area covered by the Kolkata Metropolitan Development Authority (KMDA). Baguiati lies off the Kazi Nazrul Islam Sarani, popularly known as VIP Road, in the north eastern periphery of Kolkata. It is developing into an important commercial and trade center. Lake Town, Dum Dum Park, Krishnapur (more popularly known as Kestopur), Teghoria, Kaikhali, New Town, and Salt Lake cities are the nearby areas of Baguiati. Baguiati is a prominent locality placed on the VIP Road. The locality is a residential hub in the north-eastern part of Kolkata. It comes under the jurisdiction of Bidhan Nagar Municipal Corporation and is a part of the Kolkata Metropolitan Development Authority (KMDA). Several prime localities near Baguiati are Dumdum, Keshtopur, Salt Lake, Rajarhat, Lake Town, Bangur Avenue, and New Town.
